Fiery colors begin their yearly conquest of the hills, propelled by the autumn winds. Fall is the artist.

Have you watched the film 'spring, summer, autumn, fall... spring.' by a korean director, i can't remind his name... anyway, it tells a lot about the seasons as metaphors for stages in life. i think it relates to the idea of the artist as fall. but I see the artist as the 4 seasons in one, combined, changing, developing. not sure if this makes sense, it's just a feeling.

Haven't watched it, i will check it out..
I like your approach to the idea, seasons as artistic periods of an artist, phases which are changing. Sometimes dry and sometimes fertile, sometimes in color and sometimes monochrome.
