funny coincidence... i was just speaking with a friend about how difficult is to speak about ourselves through art but then if one succeeds it's such a great job and achievement. not sure if i'm putting it into the right words but i do agree w the quote and would add the 'difficult' bit. still not sure how to explain it though..
I agree, it is a huge achievement, to succeed in putting a piece of yourself in your art, and to keep on doing it through your work. That it is such a difficult task..
Set me a task in which I can put something of my very self, and it is a task no longer; it is joy; it is art.

Yes, i guess artists are hunting for pieces of themselves. And it's so hard to catch them :)
