I agree, and i guess e-mailing and blogging also fit the description.

Yes, quite amazing how easy it is today to communicate worldwide, and how the barrier of physical distance has became totally irrelevant.

Such an amazing phenomenon, blogging...and what a great way to combine solitude with good company. Far more so than emailing and letter writing I would say.

O yes, blogging is such a great invention:)

Hi Thinker! How are you doing?
I think it is a great quote, but I don't agree with the idea that it fits blogging. E-mailing perhaps?
When you are writing your blog, you can't know for sure who is going to read it. You may have an idea. But some people you don't like or you don't know may read it too.

Hey Cécile, glad to see that you're back! Looking forward to see the sketches from your trip.

Cecile makes a very good point. There's always that little niggle that perhaps someone who doesn't like you is reading your blog and you can't be sure what sort of reception your going to get.

Yes, i guess. But on the other hand, blogging gives a possibility of finding more good company in solitude.
