The idea that a painting has a "voice" is interesting. When I see a painting, sometimes I hear sounds in my head, that correspond to what is on the picture: fabrics and movements, or the sound of raylights, that kind of thing. I wonder what other people hear.
I agree, it's almost like every color has its own sound. Painting and music have a lot in common, a lot of same terms and values are used for both of them(like composition, tone, scale). I guess one of the main differences is that painting is stretched in space,while music is stretched in time:)
