The idea that a painting has a "voice" is interesting. When I see a painting, sometimes I hear sounds in my head, that correspond to what is on the picture: fabrics and movements, or the sound of raylights, that kind of thing. I wonder what other people hear.
I agree, it's almost like every color has its own sound.Painting and music have a lot in common, a lot of same terms and values are used for both of them(like composition, tone, scale).I guess one of the main differences is that painting is stretched in space,while music is stretched in time:)
