This quote makes me stop and think as do so many of the quotes you post. I'm thinking of all the mornings I wake up and forget to acknowledge the miracles that happen before my eyes. I read a quote somewhere today about .... remembering the small moments because one day you will look back and realize they were the big moments.
I find that I disappoint myself over and over again when I decide to do something worthwhile in response to ...say... a beautiful misty dawn and then allow time to get away from me. Later I think... if only I had seized the moment! Those are the times that I wish I still lived out in the country where time seems to be slower.
Totally agree with you Robyn, we neglect so often the beauty of everyday moments, every day has its unique, hidden miracles.
I guess all we can do is to keep fighting that war with our own indifference day by day, some battles we win, some we loose.
