The knowledge of autumn

I like spring, but it is too young. I like summer, but it is too proud. So I like best of all autumn, because its leaves are a little yellow, its tone mellower, its colours richer, and it is tinged a little with sorrow and a premonition of death. Its golden richness speaks not of the innocence of spring, nor of the power of summer, but of the mellowness and kindly wisdom of approaching age. It knows the limitations of life and is content. From a knowledge of those limitations and its richness of experience emerges a symphony of colours, richer than all, its green speaking of life and strength, its orange speaking of golden content and its purple of resignation and death.

Autumn definetly is the season of Poets - people who can see beauty in decaying things, in all sides of Nature :)
Beautiful quote, Thinker, I don't know much about Chinese Poetry and I'm glad I can have a little of it here. Have a nice day!

golden content ..... I love Autumn especially in the middle of Summer. When Autumn comes around again I'm going to wallow in it!
Great quote, Thinker.

Autumn is kind of sucky for me, it's when school is back, and for some reason I just can't get any dates in the first semester of the school year, but then in spring I do much better.

Yes, i guess autumn school period can be quite complicated, especially after the summer break.
