Beautiful, dark days of autumn rain

My Sorrow, when she's here with me,
Thinks these dark days of autumn rain
Are beautiful as days can be;
She loves the bare, the withered tree;
She walks the sodden pasture lane.

Robert Frost, from My November Guest

I haven't seen the sun for days... the sky is grey, the trees are bare, and the grass is really green! And I feel just like this poem...sort of euphoric in fall’s sombre tones!
cheers!

Happy you liked the poem Emily.
Every autumn i get re-amazed with tones and colors it brings, it seems that nature's colors are richer and richer every year:)

that's such a beautiful thought, 'colors are richer and richer every year'. you must have a truly rich way of seeing :) autumn is beautiful, indeed. and this is a beautiful image of it. where is it?

This are the woods by the beautiful lake on the north of my country. Nature is totally amazing there:)

I love Autumn too, but this year it feels so long and gray to me (I can't reaaly move from home)! I miss trees right now :)

My practical problem with autumn is the rain and the cold weather, so i cannot enjoy working outside anymore..
I guess that's autumn, inspiring and frustrating at the same time;)
