To obey in silence

Anybody can rebel. But to obey in silence, an inner calling to search lifelong without impatience for the means of expression adequate to us... that is much more difficult."

I would say almost impossible (to obey in silence).

I think that every artist has been tempted by the desire to be an art rebel, to cross the lines and limits accepted as the cultural norm. And i have an impression that many artists try so hard to be innovative and new that they betray in a way their personal, intimate artistic emotion.
Somehow avant-garde has became so common in art today. And on the other hand - strong, clear artistic personalities are what we lack of.
